Introduction to European Standards for Children's Playgrounds
To take place on the 11th October 2007

Tutor: Peter Heseltine

Worthing, West Sussex

The European standard for Playground Equipment, BS EN 1176 and Surfacing (BS EN 177) has been in existence for nearly eight years. During that time it has been subject to interpretation and updating. A revised standard is to be published in 2008. This course reviews the old standard where it has not changed and introduces the relevant parts of the standard where it has been altered and includes the complete new Section 10. It will be useful for anyone taking the RPII Operational examination.
