Becoming an Outdoor Play Inspector
If you’re interested in becoming a certified Annual Inspector for outdoor play safety, you can download our information pack here. To be eligible, you should already have a good working knowledge of playground inspections, with experience in annual inspections or carrying out regular operational inspections.
Candidates should also have a good working knowledge of EN1176, EN1177 and BS7188, together with previous Standards BS5696 and DIN7926 – and should be able to demonstrate an understanding of how children use playgrounds and play equipment.
